We don’t want just anyone at Mizuho International, it’s those who bring innovation and intellect to our team, who can hit the ground running and who are thirsty for knowledge and experience. What every business needs in order to thrive and grow is new generations of knowledge and ideas. It’s your capacity for thought that we’re interested in, the kind of thinking that shapes companies, economies and changes them for the better.

Underpinning everything we do, are our values of Customer Focus, Innovative Spirit, Speed, Team Spirit and Passion. It’s important to us that we employ people who identify with and share our values – we rate integrity and commitment above all!

What we offer

We offer three internship programmes:

  • Banking & Markets,
  • Corporate Functions, and
  • Information Systems.

Our 10 week rotational programme comprises an introduction to financial markets and operations, technical skills development sessions, as well as bespoke soft skills sessions. You will spend time on three different desks with our experienced teams in one of the three different business areas above and be exposed to the pace and intricacies of the business from day one.

You will be paired with a ‘buddy’ – a former graduate on our programme - who will provide you with informal support and answers to your questions throughout your placement. You will also be given regular feedback and structured objectives for each rotation.

At the end of the placement, our top performing interns will secure a place on our 2021 Graduate Programme!
