With over 800 key figures from local, regional and global markets the conference provided access to hundreds of companies engaged in international trade.
This year's mantra was “seizing opportunities”.
Strong attention was also be paid to encouraging a culture of entrepreneurship – with discussions on improving diversity levels and gender balance, reflecting on the important work of the SheTrades initiative – to expand trade activities, focusing on how best to “get noticed” in a competitive landscape. This was reflected in the improved gender balance of the expert speakers participating in the event.
