Mizuho International appoints Mark Currie as Head of Sterling (GBP) Rates Trading
London, 24 September 2018: Mizuho International plc (Mizuho International), the London based securities and investment banking arm of Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. has appointed Mark Currie as Head of Sterling (GBP) Rates Trading.
Based in the London office, Currie joins to trade GBP cash and derivatives products. Acting in the capacity of Executive Director, Mark reports to Campbell Gilbert, Head of European Rates Trading of Mizuho International plc.
Currie has joined Mizuho International from Deutsche Bank and has 29 years’ experience trading global bond and derivative markets. During his career at Deutsche Bank spanning 20 years, he held various senior positions in European Rates, GBP Rates and Euroswaps in the Sydney, Auckland and London offices.
